The recruitment process for candidates to selected projects consists of two stages:
- analysis of documents submitted by the candidate;
- qualifying interview.
Elements of candidate evaluation in the qualification process:
- Qualification interview (0-100 points);
- Documented scientific achievements (0-86 points);
- Arithmetic average of grades from all exams during studies (0-14 points).
Applicants who score less than 120 points (60%) during the recruitment process will not be admitted to the doctoral school.
Detailed criteria for awarding points in the qualification procedure are outlined in Annex No. 4 to Resolution No. 24 of the Senate of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń.

Application Deadline:
All documents must be submitted electronically first, preferably in PDF format, to the email address: szkola.doktorska@cm.umk.pl. Please name each file as follows: Last Name and First Name. application, Last Name and First Name. cover letter, Last Name and First Name. academic CV, etc.
Then, you must submit the documents in traditional (paper) form at the school secretariat on the above-mentioned dates, i.e. 21-29.08.2025.
Only complete applications submitted by the deadline will be considered. Incomplete, overdue or early applications will not be considered for further processing. Candidates are responsible for ensuring that they submit all required documents.
